Gutta Sternbuch (Warsaw, 22 January 1917 - New York, 30 August 2012) was a Polish teacher of Jewish origin and a Holocaust survivor.She came from a chasidic middle-class family. She lived in Warsaw during the years of World War II and graduated from the University of Warsaw. She was a teacher and later became the director of a school, which she created, in the Warsaw ghetto during the Nazi occupation of Poland. She collaborated with Janusz Korczak in his orphanage. She took part in the newspaper published in the ghetto, Jewish Gazette, for which she wrote articles of various kinds.
